How Do You Prepare Against a North Korean Attack?

Yesterday, several writers and readers contacted The Big Money to point out that all or some of our site was not working. This is obviously very frustrating to us, and our tech team (which works out of the Washington Post's Arlington office) spent much of the day working on this problem. It turns out that the Washington Post Co. sites were hacked by North Korean cyberattackers. Web publishing has many advantages but evidently some drawbacks, too. Our tech guys are very good, but honestly if the government can't keep the North Koreans from shutting down the Defense Department Web site, it's unfortunately not realistic to expect The Big Money to be invulnerable.
