I now officially have no idea what’s going on with the Porsche-Volkswagen takeover merger Teutonic melodrama. It was just a short while ago that it seemed all was lost for ambitious Porsche CEO Wendelin Wiedeking, outmaneuvered by VW’s imperious chairman, Friedrich Piech. But no! Enter … Qatar in alliance with Wiedeking to provide cash to lessen Porsche’s debt load. Hey, I’m rooting for Porsche in this one, but who knows what’s next?
