Wilkinson Sword Cuts It Fine
The razor company riffs on shaving metaphors in this viral video.
Wilkinson Sword takes the trim-the-hedges theme to the extreme in this singing, dancing, Broadway-style commercial created to sell women’s razors. Does this ad make you want to see what creative patterns you can produce or forego shaving altogether? You tell us: Watch and vote below.

Stats: 150,000 views since April 2. This one has been viewed nearly 30,000 times, generating 46 text responses. Elsewhere in social media universe: a combined 110 Twitter tweets and blog posts.
What you see: A leggy blonde strokes her cat and, as the camera zooms in, she croons: "Sometimes a girl can't help feelin’ a little blue. When everything's a mess, my favorite thing to do is ... mow the lawn!" Cut to a door opening on a well-trimmed yard with the woman's friends in short shorts clipping, mowing, singing, kicking up a fuss—you get the picture. Being an ad—or, shall we say, advert—for the British market, there's a series of nudge-nudge-wink-wink double entendres. Here's just one: "Some bushes are really big," one woman sings with a wink.
