Looking to score a hit online, Nike (NKE) a few days ago posted an extended TV spot to YouTube. Nothing new there. It even includes blinked-and-you-missed-them cameos by mega-priced superstar-endorsers Kobe Bryant and Ice Cube. But the real star of this video is Paul Rodriguez Jr. Don't know who that is? Then you're clearly no fan of skateboarding, dude. The skater faithful, though, have responded. Makes you wonder: Will YouTube, and not TV, determine the next generation of celebrity endorsers?
